Add a supplement
Why supplements exist and how to add positive or negative amounts.
A supplement is an extra adjustment on a finalized salary. It lets you add a positive or negative amount without changing the original salary.
Supplements are meant for corrections after the fact, such as extra revenue or a repayment.
Why use supplements
Once a salary is finalized you cannot edit it. A supplement allows you to apply a correction in the same period so your numbers stay accurate.
Add a supplement
- Go to
Portal->Salaries. - Open a finalized salary.
- Choose
Add supplement. - Enter the amount or select invoices:
- Positive amount: extra gross profit.
- Negative amount: correction or repayment.
- Optionally add a note and save.
What happens in the calculation
The supplement is included as an extra gross profit adjustment. This changes tax and net income accordingly.
