Periodic costs are recurring costs related to your owner-occupied home. In NettoWise you can record these costs so they are included in your calculation.

Periodic costs are spread across the year and affect your taxable income in box 1.

Examples of periodic costs

Common examples include:

  • Periodic ground lease (erfpacht)
  • Periodic financing costs directly related to your home loan

How to enter this in NettoWise

  1. Go to Portal -> Data -> House.
  2. Click Periodic costs.
  3. Enter the amount and period.
  4. Save.

What happens in the calculation

NettoWise spreads the periodic costs over the periods where they apply. You will see the effect in your net income per period.
